III. The type of personal information collected by Aubainerie

We assure you that we only collect personal information that is necessary. When you decide to create an online account, we ask for your first and last name, a billing and shipping mailing address, your telephone number, your email address, and a password attached to that email address, as well as language preference and country from which you interact with us. If you would like to receive our newsletter, we will also ask for your first and last name, email address, postal code and shopping preferences. In your preference center, some information we may ask you for is optional such as: contact language, gender, date of birth, last store visited, and family situation. When making purchases in store or online, we collect your first and last name, a billing and shipping postal address, your email address, payment or payment card data, and the information is noted in your file. Some of the information we may ask you for is optional. If you submit a resume to us, we collect your first and last name, contact information (email, address and telephone number), work experience, education, skills, reference information and any other information contained in your resume. We may also collect publicly available or third-party information, as well as information that is posted on social media sites, blogs and other websites, as well as login, geolocation and navigation data, and other information related to your tastes and preferences.

 

IV. For what purposes do we collect personal information?

We collect personal information from you to provide you with an interesting, easy and secure online shopping experience. Directly from you

When you wish to obtain a product or service offered by Aubainerie, return a product, or contact us, regardless of the means used (in person at a point of service, by telephone, by email, when you respond to a survey or via the newsletter), we ask you to provide us with information about yourself. The same applies if you contact us for information about our products and services as well as your purchase history. We need to identify you, for example by asking you to answer authentication questions.

If we need to share personal information with these suppliers and partners, Aubainerie will ensure that the protection and confidentiality of this information meets its own requirements and will require these suppliers and partners to contractually commit to comply and abide by them. We keep your personal information secure and confidential within applicable time limits to comply with our legal requirements. Once the retention period has expired, we make sure to destroy or anonymize your personal information. While destruction is a process of permanent disposal, anonymization means that your personal information is modified so that it no longer allows you to be identified directly or indirectly and irreversibly. Destruction and anonymization are carried out in a safe and secure manner, according to applicable best practices.

 

IX. Who has access to my information at Aubainerie 

Access to your information is limited to Aubainerie staff and representatives who need access to it in the performance of their duties. Store staff will have access to your personal information if you visit one of our stores to enhance and facilitate your shopping experience.

X. Cookies

A "cookie" is a small data file that is transmitted to your computer's hard drive and that allows a website to respond to you individually, collecting and storing information about your preferences to tailor its activities to your needs and tastes. Web beacon are small segments of code used by certain web pages to collect information about their users' activity. This website employs web beacons integrated into the webpage's code. Used for the same purpose as cookies, they gather non-personal information about the user's browsing habits, which we analyze afterward to enhance the user experience on our site.
